So I am now in Wellington, New Zealands capital city. The weather is cold and rainy, and the water temp is now officially warmer than the air, thinks it been in the lower 50's (10 C) for the past week. Wellington feels very much like San Francisco, very compact, right against the the hills, and apparently almost always cold and cloudy. Sweet!

We are waiting to catch a ferry to the South Island... super eager to get closer to the snow. Just have to wait till 2:00 AM to catch the ferry. Our plan is to visit a friend in Blenheim, then do a five day hut to hut trek in the Able Tasman forest. (Google it, it looks amazing) Hopefully I can post some pics for all you next time....
